Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund ‘make contact with Birmingham City over Jude Bellingham’ as German giants eye another English starlet

The 16-year-old starlet has already attracted interest from plenty of suitors after breaking into the Championship club’s first-team.
It is understood that Birmingham have received two significant enquiries from the Bundesliga giants, with the Midlands outfit unable to offer the teenager a professional contract until his next birthday in June.

Manchester United and Arsenal are also understood to be keen on snapping up Bellingham, with the former’s assistant manager Mike Phelan dispatched to St Andrew’s on a scouting mission this season.
The north London club have regularly attended Birmingham clashes to cast an eye over their potential target.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen on adding the talented midfielder to his ranks at Old Trafford, with Bellingham having spectacularly announced himself at senior level despite his tender age.
But it is also thought that Birmingham remain confident of keeping hold of the prodigy.
Manchester United and Arsenal have also scouted the highly-coveted 16-year-old talent
The same publication states that there has been no concerted attempt from Bellingham’s representatives to force through a move for the boyhood Bluenose, and talks over a senior contract are expected to intensity over the next few months.
Sources close to the family have hinted that the player’s father believes there is no need for his son to set out in pursuit of a big money move as long as he continues to develop through first-team action.
The Stourbridge-born prospect has snubbed several moves by big-name agents, with many influential figures circling in the hope of being appointed as the player’s representative.
Bellingham has already made 23 senior appearances for the second tier outfit, but was rested by boss Pep Clotet for the victory against Blackburn in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
