‘He has done nothing wrong’: Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola speaks out AGAIN to call for a ‘satisfying solution’ over his desire to quit Man United

  • Paul Pogba may be heading out the exit door at Manchester United this summer
  • The Frenchman has struggled at Old Trafford ever since his £89million transfer
  • He has been linked with both Juventus and Real Madrid in the transfer window
  • Pogba is currently in Australia with his United team-mates on pre-season tour

Mino Raiola has defended Paul Pogba after confirming his client wants out of Manchester United this summer.

The Frenchman’s agent is optimistic that a ‘satisfying solution’ can be reached as his client seeks a move elsewhere, with Real Madrid leading the interest.

‘The player [Pogba] has done nothing wrong,’ he told talkSPORT.

‘He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. The club has known his feeling for a long time.

‘It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this.

‘Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties.’

Pogba, who United value at £150million,  admitted last month that this ‘could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else’ – comments compounded by his agent Mino Raiola saying that he was ‘in the process’ of arranging a move for the midfielder.

The Frenchman, who signed for United in a then world-record £89million move back, has attracted heavy interest from his former side Juventus, as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid.

On Tuesday he was part of the United contingent that trained at Perth‘s famous cricket ground, having joined his team-mates on their pre-season tour of Australia.

His agent’s comments come after a video was posted to the club’s official Twitter account of an apparent altercation between Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

The duo were seen walking alongside one another before Lingard threw his hands in the air in an apparent gesture of annoyance towards Pogba.

The Frenchman appeared unhappy at Lingard and turned towards the Englishman before defender Victor Lindelof stepped in and put his arms around Pogba to stop the situation from boiling over.

United officials had been unsure if Pogba would report back for pre-season, having messaged some of his team-mates on Friday insisting that he wouldn’t be going on the club’s tour.

The Pogba transfer drama is threatening to overshadow Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s summer plans ahead of the new season.

There are elements within the club that think it would be best to sell him as quickly as possible in order to keep a happy camp.

However, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been vehemently opposed to that, having dreamt of building a United team around their former academy player.
