Istanbul Basaksehir manager Abdullah Avci has accused the Galatasary bench of ‘throwing punches’ as the fall-out from their extraordinary touchline fracas continues.
The brawl, shortly after Basaksehir went ahead in the 17th minute through Riad Bajic, saw Emmanuel Adebayor thrown into the bench by Galatasaray’s second choice goalkeeper Ismail Cipe.
And now Basaksehir manager Avci has claimed Galatasaray and manager Fatih Terim were repeatedly aggressive throughout the encounter.

This led to a touchline fracas which saw Emmaneul Adebayor shoved by fellow sub Ismail Cipe
The winner of the match will win the Turkish title and fans raged after the visitors scored
‘After we scored, the Galatasaray coach (Terim) assaulted our bench,’ Avci told beIN Sports.
‘They have thrown punches, cursed, words that I can not say here. The fourth official (ironically) didn’t see.
‘Then they came one more time throwing punches, cursing. They can check VAR records.’
Galatasaray came from behind to win the match 2-1 and were crowned Turkish League champions.

But it was Terim who emerged victorious with a 2-1 win sealing the league for Galatasaray
