- Tuilagi is expected to recover in time for England’s World Cup camps in May
Manu Tuilagi’s injury curse has struck again after the England centre was ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The Tigers star will miss the final two games of the season – although Sportsmail understands he should be fit by the end of May in time for England’s World Cup camps.
It is the latest blow for struggling Leicester, who still need to pick up points to guarantee their safety from relegation.
Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi will miss the rest of the season after suffering an injury
Tuilagi injured his hamstring against Newcastle on 12 April.
His club initially expected him to return for the end of the campaign but that will now not happen.
Eddie Jones is yet to set a date for his World Cup squad announcement but Tuilagi’s next rugby is now likely to be the warm-up game against Wales in August.
