Arsenal loanee David Ospina has been rushed to hospital after suffering a blow to the head during Napoli’s Serie A encounter with Udinese on Sunday.
The 30-year-old was caught on the head in a collision with Udinese winger Ignacio Pussetto after only seven minutes of the first half.
The Colombian goalkeeper received treatment immediately after the nasty clash that left him with a cut to his forehead but was able to play on.

Ospina opted to carry on with the game with his head wrapped in bandages on Sunday
Following the treatment, Ospina went on to concede twice before fainting on the pitch without anyone around him in the 44th minute, prompting his worried Napoli team-mates to call for the stretcher.
The goalkeeper was tended to immediately again before being driven off the pitch on a stretcher and rushed to a nearby hospital.
Alex Meret came on to replace Ospina before the break.

According to reports in Italy, Ospina has since regained consciousness and is with his wife
Ospina made his loan move to the Naples club from the Gunners last summer following the arrival of Bernd Leno.
He will be eligible to face his parent club in the Europa League after Napoli were drawn against Arsenal for the quarter-finals.
Napoli will be hoping that Ospina will make a full and quick recovery following the worrying scenes on Sunday.
