Liverpool flew out on Monday afternoon ahead of their warm-weather training camp in Marbella.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are not in action again until the Champions League last-16 clash with Bayern Munich on February 19. That means they will spend the next four days training for that game in Spain.
Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Klopp led the way for the Reds as they arrived at John Lennon Airport.

Manager Jurgen Klopp was also part of the travelling party, as was midfielder Naby Keita
Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Alisson, Henderson, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mignolet, Shaqiri, Brewster, Robertson, Origi, Matip, Phillips, Jones, Hoever, Woodburn, Kelleher, Camacho, Alexander-Arnold, Christie-Davies, Whelan, Lewis
PS. From Liverpool’s game on Saturday, they don’t have a match for the next eight days as they were knocked out of the FA Cup.
Naby Keita, Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster could also be seen leaving Merseyside.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has surprisingly been included in the squad.
The midfielder is on the path to recovery after sustaining multiple ligament damage during the Champions League semi-final against Roma last campaign.
And now he seems fit enough to take part in the camp. Xherdan Shaqiri and Dejan Lovren have also been included amid their injuries.
A series of youngsters were also snapped on arrival at the airport on Monday.
But Joe Gomez has been left on Merseyside as he recovers from his own issue.
Klopp gave an update in December in which he revealed Oxlade-Chamberlain was progressing faster than expected.
‘He started going on the pitch and from the first step he did it looked completely normal,’ he revealed, ‘Not like sometimes when a player is coming back from an injury and he starts running and then you see them still, not really limping, but it’s not the picture you have in your mind.

‘With Ox, from the first step it looked like Ox and that was really nice. Then we had to wait for the reaction – and there was no reaction, which is even nicer.
‘No pressure put on him, but it looks like he could maybe be back in normal training in late February – maybe, I am not sure, [maybe] March. So that gives us hope he will be back in the season.
‘That’s the moment; we are usually not that excited about something like this but a lot of things can happen, it’s true it still can happen a lot after being out for that long time, but it looked so positive.
WHY ARE THEY TRAVELLING TO MARBELLA FOR THE CAMP?
It is currently 18 degrees in Marbella, which is perfect for staying out on the pitch and training, compared to the current temperature of 7 degrees in Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp revealed in December that Oxlade-Chamberlain was recovering well
‘It is just nice to have him around with a smile on his face again. He very often has a smile on his face, but now with good reason. He is obviously happy and we are very happy.’
Youngsters Isaac Christie-Davies, Corey Whelan and Adam Lewis have also been given a place.
Liverpool beat Bournemouth 3-0 at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
