Ramos was cautioned after ten minutes in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg at Camp Nou and was possibly fortunate to avoid a second yellow card for a foul on Arthur and a later altercation with Luis Suarez.
Pique praised the overall performance of referee Antonio Mateu, but thought Ramos should have been sent off.
